hello rene, i was recently listening to one of my all time favorite cd\'s the other day { silent witness} and decided to look around on the internet and see if i could find any information about your band. and to my dismay i found your no longer togther .... i bet you get this question allot but i would like to ask anyway. will this group ever perform live together again ??? if so how could i find out ??? the version that you did of naima is second to none as far as i am concerned. i never grow tired of listening to it. the bass and the drums are spot on perfection! i am no musician but i do know good music and that is some bad ass stuff !! if you should read this i would love to get a response from you ?? thanks for your contribution to music !! i will look to see what else i can find of yours. regards, lew

Rene, it was great to meet you tonight. But more important than that, I am so grateful to have been given a peak musical experience tonight. I perform with my son Kyle (he was sitting across the table from me) and I was so excited for him to hear why people like jazz... and what it sounds like when music swings. Your bass playing was (I'm sitting here shaking my head, trying to figure out how to verbalize it... ummmm....) OK... let me say it like this: I couldn't wait for you next bass solo and that is not my typical response to a bass solo!!!! You are such a melodic player... and the tastefullness and lushness of your playing... I don't think that I've ever heard anything so wonderful before.
